Diversity and Cultural Competency
The United States has entered a new era, the free-lance economy, where the ranks of part-timers, temporary workers, and independent contractors are expanding while the traditional workforce is shrinking. More than ever cultural competency is required to move beyond cultural themes and events to a more integrative and inclusive approach within the workforce. This workshop is designed to enhance your organization’s systematic efforts to achieve diversity and cultural competency in both traditional categorical domains (race, age gender, ethnicity) and the more interwoven, systemic and tacit domains (cultural, social class, dislocation issues, nontraditional family structures, hidden rules of society etc).

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because occasionally circumstances occur.
